** Co on Thursday reached a tentative agreement with its pilots’ union to reduce layoffs by 220, according to a memo to pilots seen by Reuters

** Agreement must still go through the pilot union’s review process

** Co also announced it was raising $9 bln, $2.5 bln more than its previous est, by pledging its SkyMiles loyalty program
